Dev Kit Requirements & Concepts
This page outlines an investable v0 Dev Kit and future OEM module plan, including optional 3D‑printed ideas for rapid prototyping.
Dev Kit v0 BOM
- SDR: USRP B210 or ADALM‑Pluto (cost‑effective, ext clock recommended)
- Disciplined reference: GPSDO (10 MHz + 1 PPS) or rubidium (GNSS‑denied)
- Antennas & RF: 2.4 GHz ISM antennas, SMA cabling, bandpass filter
- Compute: Laptop/SBC with USB‑3 or GbE; UHD/SoapySDR drivers
- Environmental: Temp sensor on enclosure for drift correlation
- Power & Enclosure: Stable PSU, shielded enclosure
See repo: hardware/BOM_DEV_KIT.md
OEM Module (Concept)
- Form factor: M.2/mini‑PCIe timing card
- RFIC: AD9361‑class SDR SoM or RFSoC, PPS/10 MHz IO
- Clock: OCXO with optional GPSDO discipline
- Security: Attestation + signed telemetry
- On‑device DSP: τ/Δf pipeline (matched filter, CLEAN, KF)
3D‑Printed Concepts
- Snap‑fit SDR + OCXO mount with airflow channels
- Reference distribution bracket (10 MHz/1 PPS SMA bulkheads)
- Antenna standoff with ferrite isolation sleeves
- Thermal shroud for OCXO with removable service cap
We can provide starter STLs; the 3D viewer on the home page loads /public/model.glb.
Use of Funds
- Dev Kit v0 manufacturing (SDR, references, enclosures)
- OEM module prototype (RFIC bring‑up, PCB, firmware)
- PTP/gPTP sidecar hardening and field pilots
- Certifications (EMC/regulatory) and industrial design
